Date: To be announced. The planning committee has not responded to the scheduling request. The scheduling request was sent on January 4, 2026. A follow-up was sent on February 12. A second follow-up was drafted but not sent.

2025 Annual Symposium
Status: Postponed.
The planning committee did not respond to the scheduling reminder. The reminder was issued three times. The committee has not disputed this characterization.
2024 Annual Symposium
Status: Completed.
Location: [Conference center], Geneva. Attendance: 84 registered. 61 attended. 23 did not respond to the attendance confirmation. This is consistent with our research findings.
Keynote: "The Courage to Hear the Alarm" by Dr. [name], Director of Research.
Notable incident: The building's fire alarm activated during the keynote address at approximately 14:22. The audience did not evacuate. The keynote speaker paused, noted the alarm, and continued. When asked about this during the Q&A, the speaker described it as "a live demonstration of the phenomenon under discussion." The audience laughed. The alarm continued for eleven minutes. No one left the room.
The Center has received correspondence from the venue's fire safety officer regarding this incident. We have not yet responded. The correspondence has been filed in a folder labeled "Urgent."
2023 Annual Symposium
Status: Completed.
Attendance: 92 registered. 70 attended.
Proceedings were published. The publication notification was sent to all registrants. Open rate: 34%.
